Your doctor wont tell you that other common triggers for depression include some prescription drugs such as antibiotics, drugs for high blood pressure, nasal decongestants and heart drugs.
The last thing you want to have to go through when felling depressed is an episode of ill health, but that is exactly what many people experience with many depression drugs.
Antidepressant drugs can cause:
*
Delirium.
*
Fatigue.
*
Excessive sweating.
*
Dangerous low blood pressure.
*
Strokes and Heart attacks.
*
Vomiting
*
Diarrhoea.
*
Anxiety.
*
Insomnia.
*
Muscle pains.
*
Sexual problems.
*
Even suicide.
So the best thing you can do for your body, and your mind is to stop looking to prescription drugs for the answer. All that is necessary is the right balanced diet.
i took the above from an article on depression found at
Try MDMA instead.
I started taking Effexor last month it seems to help with my anxiety. I think prozac worked better for depression. I was on prozac for over 20 years and it worked great for depression.

You’re supposed to contact your doctor if you have feelings of depression so that they can change the dosage or something.
I was on Remeron for the depressive states of bipolar disorder, and I couldn’t stand the lethargy side effects… I switched to Celexa, which shot me straight into a pretty intense hypomania after my moods lifted from the initial severe depression. After dropping the Celexa (as well as Lamictal in short order), the depression returned full-force and ingnited an emotional roller coaster of moods in a short period of time. I got back on my lithium and I am doing fairly well, although I don’t feel as stabilized as before.
Celexa was a good curb for the depression, when I was taking it.
